- Elvis impersonator at Haas School of Business Holiday Party, 2007.
- Devotee of the worst movies ever made; large personal collection, including "Plan Nine from Outer Space," starring Bela Lugosi, and "Inkubo," starring William Shatner with 100% Esperanto dialogue.
- While we're on the subject, encouraged my staff to listen to Shatner poetry readings.
- Claim to fame: Attended opening game of World Series 1959, Los Angeles Dodgers v. Chicago White Sox.
- Claim to fame: Caught 255 lb. halibut, Emerald Cove, Alaska; caught piranha in tributary to Amazon.
